More about Dumbo Oyster Bar and what we strive to deliver
Dumbo Oyster Bar opened in 2026 under the arches of the Brooklyn Bridge, built around a straightforward idea: serve great oysters, take care of people, and let the neighborhood set the tone. The raw bar is the heart of the room, with East Coast beds, a rotating oyster of the day, and towers built to share, all shucked to order.
Beyond the ice, the menu reaches into the kinds of dishes Brooklyn cooks well: lobster rolls and clam chowder, squid ink pasta, a proper New York strip, and a Junior's cheesecake for dessert. Stop in for a dozen and a cocktail after work, or pull up a table for a full evening out.

Gieto Nicaj and Kevin Mattner, who have been long-time restauranters in the Greater Tri-State area, have introduced a piece of the old world to their neighborhood. The family’s flagship restaurant in Greenwich Village, "One if by Land Two if by Sea," is a cherished institution in New York City, and now they are bringing their passion for hospitality to Brooklyn with Dumbo Oyster Bar.
